This site is an Australian insurance education publisher. It exists so people can compare cover like adults: documents first, price last. It does not exist to close a policy in three clicks.

Honest archive status

The Internet Archive recovered one HTML path for this domain in the research pass that commissioned this rebuild: the February 2017 homepage (and a mid-February mirror). There were no /guides/ or product-type URLs to restore.

We treated that homepage as positioning evidence — Australians have long searched for ways to compare insurance prices — and then built a greenfield information architecture. We did not copy stale rates, insurer slogans, or 2017 product claims. If a later crawl finds more heritage paths, they should be added as redirects, not invented as nostalgia.

What “trust” means on a YMYL topic

Money and insurance pages can harm people if they are casual. Our trust design is deliberately calm: teal and paper, serif headlines, tables you can scroll, diagrams that explain a mechanism rather than a lifestyle. We put disclaimers where you can find them, not only in six-point footer type.

Trust is also negative space. We leave out:

• instant-quote theatre
• invented league tables
• photos that imply a paid claim
• Capes Chance Lighthouse chrome, colours, or composition (that site is a rhythm reference for section order only)

We do not claim an Australian financial services licence on this page. If a future entity behind the domain becomes licensed, this page will say so in plain language.

How to use the site

Start at how to compare if you have quotes in hand. Start at cover types if you are still naming the product. Start at guides if you are stuck on a single mechanic — excess, PDS, waiting periods, underinsurance, switching, claims, bundling.

If you represent a licensed partner and want a real /go/ destination instead of a stub, use the contact page. We will not invent a partnership in the meantime.

Corrections and take-down

Email the editor with a URL, a description of the error, and a primary source. Trademark owners who believe a mention implies endorsement should do the same; our default stance is identification-only, and we will correct anything that reads as a fake partnership.
